Chicago-based Airline Choice demonstrates new technology with PrehKeyTec at The Passenger Terminal Expo 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark

Airline Choice will present its flight operations and government compliance solutions for airlines and charter services, and will provide demonstrations of two innovative new products. Airline Choice is presenting with key partner PrehKeyTec at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Copenhagen, Denmark. Airline Choice will be demonstrating this new technology in booth 2100 with strategic partner PrehKeyTec.
Airline Choice was the first in the industry with portable field check-in units. These briefcase-sized units empower agents to check in passengers, scan passports, match names against watch lists, assign seats, even print boarding passes and bag tags with or without an internet connection or even a roof over your head.
Airline Choice will follow those innovations by revealing two new products at the show:
- New All-in-one Solution. This unit integrates the PrehKeyTec MCI 111 Keyboard with an integrated Passport Reader. The All-in-one Solution can provide a true mobile solution that is easy to move and set up. This unit has a monitor built into the lid, while a keyboard with integrated passport reader, drivers’ license scanner, and micro computer reside in the base.
- New Mini Unit. This unit is smaller and is extremely light. It features an 11 inch laptop with an integrated passport scanner. This smaller, lighter unit would be well suited for travel in smaller aircraft.
The Airline Choice Suite captures passenger and crew information and performs TSA (Transportation Security Administration) No Fly and watch list screening, APIS (Advanced Passenger Information System) and Secure Flight Compliance, as well as reporting capabilities.
